Introduction

The Spiegel Brothers Corporation was an importer and retailer of tool and hardware operating in New York.

In 1922 the company began using "Steelcraft" as a brand for bicycles and tools. (The date is from the first use date in trademark filings.)

At some point the company established the Steelcraft Tool Corporation as a subsidiary.
